I miss Tops burgers from when I was a kid. Too bad they got closed down after a bunch of E. coli and Salmonella outbreaks.

My hubby loves his burgers and we bought our Blackstone last summer after we moved and have been watching your videos ever since <3 I prefer 'dogs (Nathan's are delicious on the B-stone!) but we always keep a pound or two of 80/20 chuck shrinked up in the freezer (the vacuum sealer is love and life!) Since I don't always want a burger every time we griddle, he started looking into frozen patties and we picked up a bag of the great value ones so he's happy that they look to be palatable, lol.

I am always surprised how many people buy frozen burgers. Yes, there is the convenience, but I call it laziness, and let’s be honest, many folks just don’t have great taste buds or are willing to spend a little extra time to get some fresh 80/20 ground beef, add some spice and form some burgers. Sometimes it is just telling of what they think of their guests, and lastly, people go for the cheapest, or don’t care what they spend. Family traditions are hard to break of just throwing frozen burgers on the grill or griddle. Unless you have a large number of guests, a little love and time with fresh made burgers are the way to go. And to be honest, I have a very hard time going out to eat, when I can make it myself, tastes a ton better, and I can make two to three meals at the same price of going out.

Have you tried the Cattlemen's Ranch Smash Burgers from Aldi's? $7.99 for 8 - 4 oz patties.

We buy the great value. They are pretty decent. Of course I prefer fresh ground chuck or brisket trim but for a quick easy meal, frozen are a win at our house.

i just cooked some of the great value patties this weekend. They were great for the price, they shrunk quiet a bit. The members mark sirloin burgers are my favorite from sams.

Dukes MAyo is not the best. Hellmans or HEB!

My kids had a market day sale at their school and we bought a box of frozen steak burgers, and those were the best burgers we ever ate!
